Anyone who wants to achieve in the e-mail marketing high opening and conversion rates, operating expenses and must be creative. The other strategy to build credibility is to put your name and address of your website on the introduction of each email. Thus readers know who is coming quickly information, otherwise they will have questions and do not trust. If possible write in the subject will benefit with this message, a good trick is to cause doubt, the reader should be curious and do not do anything other than opening the message.
Example:
Subject: (Name) Here is the surprise gift this week ... ..!

Just avoid unwanted links in the email and don’t make it too big also. Keep that short and very easy to understand. It will be better if you can put company logo in the email.

Take every chance you get to your list of recipients to expand. If you have a shop, give your customers the ability to spot their email address behind. At conferences or events, ask each party whether he / she may add to your list of recipients to exchange business cards. Add the entry form for your newsletter to each page on your website. Do not use a subject line consisting only UPPER case or add extra exclamation marks (!!!). This will trigger spam filters. The same applies to the content of your newsletter.

Don’t send the emails daily to the same users. If you send email to some user then just wait for few days, at least for one week and after that send them email again. There is more chances that he/she will respond to that.

Give the link of the your website on each email so that he can get to your website for more information. Provide sufficient information on the site so that someone not feel that to be incomplete. Put the contact detail in that so that, if someone want to make contact with you then he can do that without any problem.

Email marketing is one of the best way to get the promotion of anything. Make sure that the people you are targeting are interested in that. So selecting and targeting the people for whom there are more chances to show interest in your ad.

From experience, it is probably best to sign up to an e-mail client, rather than just using outlook etc. There are many available, mail-chimp, swiftpage we chose mailaway mainly because they have UK servers, (not just U.S).
These clients will provide lots of templates as well as tips and tricks.
Main thing is you DO NOT SPAM your clients, (or potential clients). This can be done by either e-mailing too much, or sending them unsolicited e-mails, make sure you give the option to UNSUBSCRIBE.
Also, if you don't format the e-mail correctly, the e-mail could just end up in the spam folder. For example, sending an e-mail with large pictures or illicit text. The e-mail clients as mentioned above have many templates that prevent such technical issues.
Also, you have the option to 'pay-as-you-go' which makes it cheaper and easier.
As someone else said, take every opportunity to invite people to your e-newsletters/e-marketing as much as you can.
