unable to Update original MS Office 2008 when put into OS Lion
I have recently bought MacBook Pro with OS Lion. I reinstalled the original disk of MS Office 2008 that I bought three years ago. But I was unable to update the original MS office 2008. It is informing me to consult with the MS web address. But the address did not exist. It is very annoying. How can I get Microsoft 2008 in its original version? Kindly help me regarding this. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I will suggest you to create new user and name it as ‘test’. Allow it all the admin permissions. Run the automatic updater with this new user. Do as following after creating the user.
Go to System Preferences>>Create a New User in Accounts>>Switch to the New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching.
