New system(Windows 7) crashes and restarts without any errors
I have made the following new system:
- Windows 7 Ultimate x64
- ASUS M5A99X EVO- Motherboard
- Radeon HD 6770- Graphics
- AMD FX-6100 - processor
- 8 GB Patriot G2 DDR2 - Memory
- Diablotek 600 Watt- Power.
The problem that I am facing with this new system is that the windows is just crashing and then restarting without any error or message and it is just leaving me clueless about the cause of the same, is there anyone who can help me out??
Re: New system(Windows 7) crashes and restarts without any errors
Before I suggest you something about this, I want to know the following:
- Have you made any recent changes as you have specified that it is a new system??
- This issue occurred suddenly or it has been from the first day??
- Have you tried out the Windows 7 trouble shooters??
Just answer me the above question so that I can understand your problem better and help you with the same.
Re: New system(Windows 7) crashes and restarts without any errors
No I have not made any changes in any kind of settings but then I am not very sure because it has been used by my family members as well, so there are possibilities that there might have been changes without my knowledge.
This has not occurred suddenly it was working fine for a week without any such issues and the first time this problem occurred was when I was playing game and I suspect that it was because of the overheating but then it was working fine again after restart, Now it crashes and then reboots on its own when I am working on it, It has happened 4 times in 10 hours.
I have tried out the Windows 7 trouble shooters and even it did not gave me any suspected error and so, is there any solution that I can try out to get rid of this issue??
Re: New system(Windows 7) crashes and restarts without any errors
I will suggest you to download VEW by Vino Rosso and after that just save it on your desktop and then run it as an administrator by right clicking on it, after that just select the check boxes which will be aside to the Application and System below the Select log, Now below the Select type to list just right click on the box which are aside to the Error and Warning Note and then select the Number of events below the “Number or date of events “ and then fill it with “20” and then just click on run, after the process is finished just you file get a log file so just copy the same in the notepad and then upload the same here so I can have a look at it.

I have done the same and here is the log file that I have got from the above process:
Vino's Event Viewer log file
Re: New system(Windows 7) crashes and restarts without any errors
I have gone through the same and I don’t think that there is anything suspicious as such, I will suggest you to download the below file:
After downloading it save it to your desktop and then just Double click on the icon that will appear on the desktop and then it will again produce a log file, so again copy the same and then upload it here as you have done before.

Ok now I have again followed the above process and here is the log that has been generated:
Diagnostic Report
Re: New system(Windows 7) crashes and restarts without any errors
I have gone through the same and I have found that the windows install that you are having is using OEM SLP key on a retail motherboard so I just wanted to inform you that OEM SLP keys are available for the royalty OEM's and I don’t think that are using the same, The install that you are using is OEM SLP Windows 7 Ultimate license for computers from ASUS and you will have to get a genuine Windows 7 License as your system is using an activation exploit. Hope that helps.
