Just launch yourself the ARP or RARP according to your need and you find the flow of command from your software.

I think the MAC address has nothing to do with the IP address, MAC address can uniquely identify a network card, switch, router etc. but one can not infer the IP address from the MAC address. actually a MAC address is a unique identifier for a network card. It is coded on 48 bits (6 bytes).
