I have Acer Aspire Timeline 4810T and I am planning to do photo editing. I have 8 GB ram with 120 ssd to boost my speed. I attempt two dissimilar ram setup 1 Infineon and 1 Kingston and none of 8 gb Kits works. Am I stuck at 4 GB?

Please let me know windows version which your are using currently. i have 8 gb ram in my acer 3820T running 64 bit windows 7 home without any trouble.
I have 8 GB Ram in Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T which is having identical chipset, whatsoever I kept for the GMA 4500MHD was working in Windows 7 x64.
on the other hand, it's DDR2 which is unreasonably costly for 2x4GB.My RAM kit was a 2x4GB from eBay - the retailer can't promise what brand you acquire, however I ended up receiving PC2-6400 Hynix modules.
It doesnt work what you mean by .computer doesnt detect ram at all. Please let me know the model of the kingston and infineon Ram you tried .let me know
I have the similar estimation, possibly will rule it out. Doesn't make any sense to me. I imagine the laptop specs 10600 ram, although there is no difference that I know between 10600 vs. 10666.
