Having problems booting with full ram
Ok my system has a core i7 960, DX58SO2 motherboard, 1200W PSU, and I am trying to run it with my corsair 1600mhz 1.6v ram. I can boot and run stable fine with one stick in the primary slot. (any of my 6 sticks work fine here.) but It won't even post if I fill all the primary slots or all 6 slots. I get the 21b post code. I went into the BIOS configuration and set it to 1600mhz profile but that doesn't change anything..... help?
Re: Having problems booting with full ram
This looks issue of incompatible ram. The issue will occur if you try to run all of 6 sticks all together. Try to use some couple of sticks with each and then try to check which of it is not working. The below link will provide you more information the ram compatibility on Intel DX58SO2 motherboard. RAMS sticks with different Mhz will also create issue if connected together.
