Unable to play YouTube video on MacBook pro
My new MacBook Pro I bought in May this year was playing the YouTube video flawlessly. After a month or two it stopped working. YouTube page opens and you can see the video, but what happen when you click on the arrow to play anything recently.
Maybe some setting in the team has changed. Please can anyone advise?
Re: Unable to play YouTube video on MacBook pro
Perhaps Google apple flash disables hardware acceleration. I think you should get the latest version of the flash player may be that will help you can always search in Google for the solution there no problem whose solution is not available on Google
Re: Unable to play YouTube video on MacBook pro
Thank you very much for your reply, but now I'm totally confused as I am not very computer literate. Anyway, as you suggest Google and found problems re flash player "is a loss of response to mouse clicks ...". Well, I'm not using a mouse, but there is definitely a loss of response when you try to click on the arrow to play. Now what do you suggest to disable Flash Player and see what happens? And / or participate in the study offered by YouTube HTML5? Or download a new version of Flash Player
Looking forward to your advice
Re: Unable to play YouTube video on MacBook pro
Do Both. First try updated version of Flash, if that fails, try the option of HTML5. If that fails, then there is probably something messed up with your operating system installation on a very basic level, and that would be faster and easier to install just to try to find and fix the problem.
Re: Unable to play YouTube video on MacBook pro
Ok I'll attempt this first. If it doesn't work of me then , I'll try the HTML5 alternative. I'm believe, either technique, perhaps I don't have to disable flash player. Is this right?
And appreciation for your answer
