1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor is quiet enough to give you a better performance on tablet. You cannot expect really high clock rate here. Anyhow it is an tablet and designed to provide features on an handheld. Still you can see price of an dual core processor mobile phone. What more your can do on that small screen. I recommend this for easy usage to quickly view your file and docs on that. The best iBall did is provided an Android support onit.

ARM Cortex-A8 processor is used in many devices like smartphone, set-top box, digital tv, netbook, ssd, printer, etc. It is not better to say that this cpu will not give better performance. Other than this I want to know the applications you will get per-installed in this tablet.

Look at this thread. There are very applications come with this leaving the regular ones. You have to download some of them from android market. Android market as a very long list of free and rich applications.
