Re: sleep mode on T400 lenovo laptop
try to fix your BCD file I think this will help you
1. Run command prompt from administrator account
2 execute the following command:
bcdedit -enum all
check for "Resume from Hibernate" in the output from the command written above
Resume from Hibernate
identifier {3d8d3081-33ac-11dc-9a41-806e6f6e6963}
device partition=C:
path \Windows\system32\winresume.exe
description Windows Vista (TM) Enterprise (recovered)
inherit {resumeloadersettings}
filedevice partition=C:
filepath \hiberfil.sys
pae Yes
debugoptionenabled No
3. Once you have found it, copy the value for identifier
4. Run the following command: bcdedit /deletevalue {3d8d3081-33ac-11dc-9a41-806e6f6e6963} inherit
5. check hibernation and also for sleep mode.
Re: sleep mode on T400 lenovo laptop
actually the Lenovo T400 with Vista 32-bit (Business) do not woke up from sleep mode. on time-out or even manually and it got hang. To solve this problem go to BIOS by holding d F1 while system is getting start. From there open the "Security" page. Switch the Security Chip to "Active" after that press F10 so that it will save and exit from, BIOS
Re: sleep mode on T400 lenovo laptop
if your Lenovo laptop is under warranty than your problem will get solved Issue has been fixed by under warranty. They are solving this problem by replacing the system board. In first attempt they have tried to replace HDD but it wont helped them,so don’t waste time in implementing new thing. if your laptop comes under warranty period then get it done by the manufacturer .
