Tropico 4 has introduced a new element criminal, where a citizen if not happy turns a criminal. What if in every instant build one citizen becomes a criminal? Now the citizen who is not happy and above he legal age. The instant build just seems a lot of positives and no negatives and in all the new economic things it just feels like a natural fit.
I understand that what you wanna say is that with the feature of instant build you also want one citizen converted to a criminal. You wanna say that since it’s quick build it’s a positive feature but along with it der must be something negative in the world also to balance. But, I wanna ask you that what explanation would you give for turning him into criminal? What could be the reason as to why a criminal would appear suddenly? Maybe the builders were so unhappy with the rush that one of them turned to the life of crime.
Instant build will simply rob off all the fun in the game. If you instant build everything you will not have any of the real challenge of having to wait and you avoid rebels, protests and also fake election promises made by you. It just made the game easy and dumbed down than the earlier games. Do having all this positiveness you should have something to challenge you that’s why turning one of them into criminals to add difficulty and hard to fight rebels, which could have been easy by instantly building all the buildings.
Well, all of you complaining about instant build, I just want to say that you do have an option of not using the Instant build. It’s just a feature in the game which you can disable and don’t make your game easy as you said.
Right, but whynot those who want to make it easy have use cheats in their game and make it easier, why should developers add this feature. If they want to add, their many other things they could have added in the feature. You got to have the money and u will also need staff for the buildings, so fast build is still gonna be limited. Lastly, with all the 'extra space' and building types; quick build will only develop the island in whatever timeframe limits that get set.It’s still level playing field for those who take risks will flourish and those slow going will still go slow. It’s like you pay double, for added advantage or else you just have to be contended with the normal gameplay only. And the criminal element is calculated from the unemployment and crappy housing facilities.
Ok, so all those who complain about instant build would say, if you don’t want to use it don’t use it. Nyways, these are really pricey to build so most people would use it only when they have utmost need to build it. So, it strategically improves the game. And having so many options and features gives players a wide scope and different play styles.
