Windows 7 is writing desktop.ini files everywhere, how to stop it?
so I have issues about hidden documents, and I'm especially angry by this desktop.ini document. As it would be if it were not enough that there is one in generally each and folder, in Windows 7 there are TWO of them on my desktop! In addition, Windows 7 is constantly attempting to burn/write that index on each removable media I have, combining USB memory stays, outside hard drives, CD's, DVD's, and so forth. Am I the one exclusive feeling this is crazy?

Yes, I know I will lose some customization capacities, but the actuality is-I don't require them which is, why I need to see hidden documents-to erase them assuming that I don't require them. I realize what's in what folder, much thanks. apart yes, I know I am able to run over to Control Panel and set it to not demonstrate hidden documents, but that would be exact what I don't need.

To enable this function I have some steps to perform that. The steps are:
Folder Options > View > enable Hide protected operating system files.
in addition, desktop.ini is not written to CD/DVDs when you burn.
Re: Windows 7 is writing desktop.ini files everywhere, how to stop it?
I am currently using brand new to windows 7, and since the time that I began utilizing windows 95 up to the present Windows 7 (with win98 and winxp; yes I skipped vista), I have always seen hidden records-I am a machine expert, and not a close user sort. Why is ms/windows making these desktop.ini documents on my desktop? What is the reason anyway?

I don't feel there is and certifiable respect or reason in having the ability to see the framework documents or system files, aside from, possibly, in the event that you are troubleshooting. Anyway, fwiw, I have prepared mine and have had no problem deleting .ini indexes. Some are reproduced, but I have not had the desktop ones do that. Thank you
