Has manufacturing of 9" Netbooks stopped?
I have been out of the ring for a long time, gladly still with my first generation of 701 Netbook. I was making an allowance for finally upgrading, but it seems that now-a-days all netbooks are 10 ".Now, stop eee pc 900 series I see a new one for sale anywhere? Refurbish and used only that’s too bad if it is true. Can anyone discard some light on this?

Yes, netbooks have become 10 "and larger these days, but you can still find a few sub 10" models according to their needs. The Eee PC is a convertible T91/MT 8.9 "netbook Asus tablet is still for sale. The MK90 Asus is another 8.9", but netbook is sold as a child in the name of Disney Netpal. Then there is the extra wide 8 "Sony Vaio P Series, which is also quite expensive. While some companies still make the N5 5" UMPC screen.

Although the market is headed towards ultra thin designs should be as light as or lighter than the previous sub 10 "models. However, there may be a return to the sub 10" since the cost is reduced and the demand for mobility. Like Razer, the company of PC games peripherals, offers design 7 "uses a touch screen for a keyboard that can be customized for games (to offset the normal limits of the small keyboards) under the codename" Dagger "and a Chinese company is actually what (if sold only in China).

While a tablet device base may be your only option, but are beginning to offer options such as a keyboard port. An example would be the Asus Eee Pad Transformer. So you can see this netbooks as a device created from tablets custom designed for sub 10 'size range to meet the public needs. Although, if you ask me than it is more likely to see a 7" or 8.9" netbook rather any other size in the market.

The old 900 series are recognizable instead of the Celeron 900MHz or 1.6GHz Dothan 353m Atom N270 originals. Since then, Intel presented a slightly higher clock speed of 1.66GHz N280 for 1000HE and some of the later models 1005HA. Then modernized the line Intel ATOM Pine Trail (see P instead of A in the model name for models of Asus), which basically combines the CPU to the chipset North Bridge and put the CPU and GPU on the same chip for boosting efficiency to help progress the time to run and reduce costs. But the routine did not improve significantly.

AMD has also entered the range of netbooks with its line of AMD Fusion, the Ontario version is less powerful 10 "Grass systems being more powerful version 11.6" in the above systems. But most of the lines are also in direct competition with compared to wider range of Intel. Grass line than even the atoms of the D series from Intel, while the Ontario falls slightly behind the number of atoms N in the CPU efficiency and power, but Ontario and grasses have graphics far better than any Intel Atom processor and its main selling point.

By the way, they are also doubling the performance of the traditional GPU Intel GMA levels. Besides adding some special features of Intel to make the systems more attractive, optional Intel WIDI media wireless transmission up to 600P with compatible devices, systems, energy efficiency and make better use of SSD to wake up faster from standby and potentially the wait can last more than a week, among other minor but interesting.
