Re: How to get Replay Gain for the AAC files on Sansa Fuze?
I think you are getting confused between AAC format and .aac file extension which is used for the raw AAC transport stream. As far as i know .aac files are not able to use replaygain directly. Because this particular files are not having any container. However traditional AAC files are available into container and hence there is no support for the Replaygain. However i am not aware of the thing that device is having support for AAC file or not. Anyway i am hoping that the information whihc i have mentioned over here would be useful to you.

In this particular situation i would like to say that the Replaygain method is used to keep the perceived volume level constant at the time of the playback of the diverse content. Basically albums are mixed and targeted to differing average volume level. At the time of the shuffle mode and there will be great difference between the track output volume and it will cause the user to make the quick corrections of the volume level.

In order to get the ReplayGain you need to use the following instructions.
- You have to select Music options and simply go for ReplayGain.
- Now you have to choose the mode that is Song, Album or Off.
- You will not be able to apply the off on the correction to the volume without considering the Replay Gain Value found.
Re: How to get Replay Gain for the AAC files on Sansa Fuze?
I am not sure but there is a pre gain setting on the device whihc you are using. If this particular setting is available on the device of yours then you will be able to adjust the overall playback. By doing the volume level upwards you will be able to composite for the average level of the track adjustment for the library. As far as i know pre gain is useful in the situation when you are supposed to match the replay gain adjusted content with the Napster Protected Content which is presented on the player of yours.

If you are wanted to see the Replay Gain values for the track which has been played on the device of yours by using the instructions which I have mentioned over here. you have to go for Music option and you have to move to second page and then you have to select the Track Info. In case there is no value then there would not be nothing on the screen of the device of yours. I am hoping that the information which I have mentioned over here will be useful to you.
