Yesterday, I had to set Steam to Offline Mode. Now, when I try to run this steam, then is will be indicate warning message. This message describe 'steam needs to be online to update, but was set to offline mode'. This is to be happening in almost all the time. This is not the error but it will be give every time warning message in system. Is there any way to remove such message? Any type of help will be appreciates.
This type of warning message need the special task to remove such complicated messaged. Then you need to do opening registry.vdf file which is present inside the /Users/~/Library/Application Support/Steam/ URL path. Then open this file using the text editor. After that you need to search the “Offline” “1″ line in this file. If you found this line, then set it to the “Offline” “0″. Finally save the file and then start the Steam. I hope this will be work and problem is solved.
