Guide to convert the Ms office 2003 document to 2010
Hi, I have installed Microsoft office 2003 in my computer, but where I work, they have different version of MS office, and since last week they moved to MS office 2010. As we are not experience with this newer version, and after all 2007 to 2010 isn't a big jump but 2003 to 2010 sounds appalling. Thus is there any one, who have idea, thus we can convert those files for the newer version. Thanks in advanced.
Re: Guide to convert the Ms office 2003 document to 2010
I would say, if you have use MS office 2007 than 2010 is not very much difficult, in fact as you have mentioned that you are still using the older version, I would say you should move to the newer version, as the software provides many facilities, many templates, and the most important, the graphic is excellent. Thus still if you’re using the MS office 2003, you can use the conversion software that will convert all those documents to whichever version you want.
Re: Guide to convert the Ms office 2003 document to 2010
See, as far as I know, you don’t have to convert those files, because the newer version has the capability to open files of the older version, I mean to say that you can simply open all those files that you have made in the MS office 2003, so I would say why to convert those files? And this why the new software are developed, you can use all those older versions files, with new software, and along with that, you’ll the enhanced feature from the newer version.
Re: Guide to convert the Ms office 2003 document to 2010
MS office 2003 was the best software, in fact I would say it is the good software, but if you really use to use the Ms office 2003 or the newer 2010, you’ll get the most enhanced feature, that you had never been through, thus I would simply suggest you to install the newer version and work on that only, because in the older version you’d not get the facilities that they have provided in the newer version like, after using the MS office 2010, you can save the document in 2003 also.
Re: Guide to convert the Ms office 2003 document to 2010
I am not sure that the files that we have made in the MS office 2003 will b open in the 2010 but, I would simply suggest you to install MS office 2010 only, as I don’t have this software, I am not aware, but if suppose you aren’t able to do so, you can always have the option for third party tools, that will simply convert any documents, to whatever you want, you can download it from the internet, and the best is like, it is free to use.

As you have mentioned that you are not that much aware of the new version, I’d like to say that the newer version is not that difficult to understand as if you practice little bit on the MS office 2007 you’ll be able to use the office 2010 soon. Still I am giving you some of the files, that will guide you for using the MS office 2010, thus no need to bother about converting the files. Or you can get the same on the internet, on their official site.
