MS Project 2003 - Deleting filters

Im using Project 2003 Proffessional standalone and when I click on the menu 'Project/Filtered For:' a number of filter options appear in the drop down menu. Alot of these are redundant and I wish to delete those that I dont wish to see. Ive deleted them from the project using the organiser but they still appear in the drop down menu. Does anyone know how I can permanently remove them?

I guess that we will need to discover whether your project is at fault, whether it is Project at fault, or whether it's your PC. Does the symptom occur with other projects on this PC? Does it occur with this project on other PCs? Does it occur with other projects on other PCs? Are you using a server?

Re: MS Project 2003 - Deleting filters

Hi, apologies for the delay but Ive only just got around to re tackling this problem. In response, yes it happens to every mpp file on my computer, yes it happens with every mpp file on another computer and I'm not using project server. The filters dont show up in the organiser (cos I've deleted them) but do in the drop down menu on the toolbar. Still looking for a solution if anyone has any ideas.
