I had Xperia X10 mini/prophone since the end of August and I am facing problem on problem with it: Several times I tried to back up my files and restore them after my successful upgrade and not occasional. The companion PC software says it is a day when it was updated, always, for me. The PCC does not open or install any applications. My phone sends a notification telling me that a software update is available, and yet when I connect the phone to my PC, the CCP tells me that my phone is up to date and I cannot even search for an update on the area of application support does not work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled PCC in an attempt to get the necessary updates to the PCC and my phone, and for applications to work. Due to this, my phone has frozen several times. The phone will not send messages, as delivery reports have said that almost every message can not be shipped, but sometimes I receive text messages in response to my phone said they were not sent?

Did you install the Update Service that comes with the phone? (A disc) The reason I asked is because the software update passes through the Update Service, a separate application that must be installed. The PCC is for you to manage files on your phone. Do not be fooled by them. The CCP keeps saying there is no update because the CCP is just checking for updates to the PCC.

Have you ever heard of hard reset? Is equivalent to the format, but the only difference is that the hard reset erases all data stored on the phone and the phone returns to normal as it was before when it was purchased? To hard reset the phone, that is, enter the code * # 7370 #. Also, do not have to worry about your data, I know it will be removed, but I think it may have kept a backup. This will solve your problem.

PCC is basically built for ourselves to manage our files and data on the phone. See, software updates basically updates our phone to higher version. This updated version will provide you more feature. So first close all your applications currently running and connect your phone to the internet. See whether your phone is working properly or not. If yes, then it will automatically check for the updates if required by your phone provided by the service center. Then just follow the steps which are present on the screen. I hope this may help.

See if your phone gets frozen up or you are not able to send any messages then it is for sure that there is some software problem. When you update your phone there are chances of any bug attached to it. Some bugs may create problems such as unable to send messages etc. Any new update shown can be some viruses or bug and not an update just to fool you. Scan your phone using the computer and remove bugs if present and try to update again.
