Which is the best 16GB RAM for Sandy Bridge?
Guys I work as Free lancer for the computer hardware and software, recently a client have asked me for the 16GB of RAM for the Intel i7 2600K build. But I am confused this time with which module should I go? That’s guys I need your help in this matter. But there are only two options in my country for the 4x4GB kits. And for now only one is available and that is Kingston HyperX "KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX". And that is 1600Mhaz but at 1.65V, I think getting 2x4GB Vangeance or the Ripjaws will be the better option. I am still confused please help.
Re: Which is the best 16GB RAM for Sandy Bridge?
Well dude I don’t have much idea about all this stuffs but I can suggest you one thing that is don’t go for the 1.65V , because I have personally experienced it doesn’t support high quality work. In my opinion this is has very less quality, so dude avoid to use the 1.65V. because for the standard work it need more than the JEDEC 1.5V, and for high performance you can’t depend on the 1.65V. So dude go for some alternative solution.
Re: Which is the best 16GB RAM for Sandy Bridge?
Well dude first of all I am not agree the above user because there is no issue with my Ram which has 1.5V and many others are working fine with the 1.65V. Dude I will suggest you to go with the Corsair Vengeance and it’s 1.5V.i am using the same in my system and I don’t have any issue with it, some of its key features are like it has great overclocking memory, and its 1.5V VDIMM specification ensure the compatibility with the 2nd generation i.e. Sandy Bridge. And it’s very cheap. And it guaranteed to work on all the dual channel Intel interfaces.
Re: Which is the best 16GB RAM for Sandy Bridge?
Well personally I agree with the first user suggesting the problem with the 1.65V, because for now its good but for longer time in future it will cause many issues on the system. Well I have 2 separate kits of “RipjawsX 2x4GB” 1600MHz and 1.5V well I bought this from the Newegg it’s a Canada based web site, with free shipping. I don’t have any problem with it, so I will recommend you to buy this thing, and it’s compatible with most of the configurations.
Re: Which is the best 16GB RAM for Sandy Bridge?
That’s so nice of you guys, at least there is one site where users are very active. Because I have posted this same query and I am really disappointed by the other sites I haven’t got any reply yet. I wasn’t able to find the proper solution on my own, thanks to you guys for suggesting me all the possible solutions. Well now I will also take care of that 1.65V factor. And after reading these posts I have found Corsair Vengeance very good option, yet I have to discuss with my client, thank you guys.
