Need help assembling a PC for a friend as a gift
Hi guys I am trying to assemble a pc for a friend of mine, not a gaming one but a normal one. I have checked out some products on ebay, what I need to know if they match each others the sockets??? The links of the products are posted below:
Processor
motherboard
Heatsink
So that's all I need from ebay :ohyeah: I know this is going to be a pretty cheap pc when built up but this is for a small fellow, a total beginner
anyway I chose these hardware by matching the Socket number 775 (LGA775)
Please, feedback will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes, the Intel Pentium D SL8CP 2.8 is a socket 775 (LGA775) type processor which is easily compatible with the MSI MS-7293 VIA PT890 Socket 775 mATX Motherboard. But I am curios to know for what purpose this computer rig is build? It seems to be a low budget build so my guess would be, only for internet surfing and for same kind of things this rig will be used?
