How to Download MP3 files on Samsung Galaxy S Phone
You can download MP3 files onto your Samsung Galaxy S (GT-I9000) touch screen phone in several different ways:
- Downloading from the web wirelessly.
- Downloading from a computer using the Samsung Kies program.
- Receiving via Bluetooth.
- Copying to / from the memory card.

1. Downloading MP3 files from the web wirelessly:
- On the Idle screen, tap Applications.
- Tap Internet to launch a specified homepage.
- To access a specific web page, select the URL input field.
- Enter the web address (URL) of the web page.
- Tap the --> icon.
- You can now search for the desired music files.
NOTE: Web services require a data connection. Contact your operator to choose the best data plan.

2. Download MP3 files from a computer using the Samsung Kies:
- First, install the Samsung Kies program on your computer. You can download the program from the Samsung website.
- Once it is done, tap Applications on the Idle screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Wireless and network.
- Tap USB settings.
- Tap Samsung Kies.
- Press the Home button to return to the Idle screen.
- Using an optional PC data cable, connect the multifunction jack on your phone to the computer.
- Run Samsung Kies and copy the desired music files onto your phone

3. Receiving MP3 files via Bluetooth:
To use the Bluetooth wireless feature on your phone, please follow the steps below:
- Turn on the Bluetooth wireless feature on your phone.
- Find and pair with other Bluetooth enabled devices.
To receive data using the Bluetooth wireless feature, do the following:
- On the Idle screen, tap Applications.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Wireless and network.
- Tap Bluetooth settings.
- Tap Visible. Your phone will be visible to other Bluetooth devices for 120 seconds.
- When prompted, enter the PIN for the Bluetooth wireless feature and tap OK (if necessary).
- Tap Accept to confirm that you are willing to receive data from the device (if necessary).
NOTE: Received data is saved to the sound folder.

4. Copying MP3 files to / from the memory card:
IMPORTANT: The plug-in micro SD memory cards and their contents can be easily damaged by scratches or bending.
Be careful when inserting or removing memory cards and keep these out of reach of children.
- Insert the micro SD memory card into the memory card slot.
- In Idle mode, select Applications.
- Tap My files.
- Select Music.
- Press the Menu key.
- Select More.
- Select Copy.
- Check the desired Mp3 file.
- Select Copy.
- Select Paste here.
NOTE: The MP3 files must be located in the music folder on the memory card.
