Re: ISB Interview Experience
As per my thinking you do not briefly know about the ISB institute. Ok, no problem I will help you a lot. The ISB is an Indian School of Business (ISB) which is placed in some big cities across India. So, the candidate must be needed to complete his graduation first. After that he would necessary to appear for the simple entrance test and personal interview. After successfully completed of this round the person would be necessary to take admissions in this highly qualified ISB institute.
Re: ISB Interview Experience
As per you are mentioning in the problem I will tell you that ISB is an international level institute. As far its interview is concerned that the acknowledgement has came into some articles. The recent acknowledgement of its eminence has come from the Financial Times, London which has placed it at rank15 among the top 100 global B-schools. At the time of interview firstly the will take GD about some topics then after some serious discussions they might be ask about the ISB and general questions. I hope this will help you a lot.
Re: ISB Interview Experience
Friend last month I have appear this exam so I will tell you what is happening in that interview. The interview started with a discussion on smoking...and went on to finding the perfect life partner to various 'pit stop strategies in formula one. Was then given a chance to ask some questions about ISB and then interview ended with the Panel apologizing for being rude which they were not... Over all it was a good experience. So remember one think that whenever you go into that interview don’t get panic just listen questions carefully and reply answer very well. Best luck……
Re: ISB Interview Experience
Hi I also appear this institute and now I have take admissions into that institute. In that interview day, so much interview candidates are came for interview. When I was go into the interview room three people sitting one opposite to me. First question is “Tell me about yourself?” after that the next question was tell us more about yourself. Completely professional Interview!! Almost everybody else also have same experience. It was kind of interview where you come out with feeling that you cracked it. And later realize everybody else having the same experience. So it is sort of vague entity now.

I have some friends who are from ISB and whatever i heard from them is, ISB looks for
1. A decent score in GMAT (anything above 700+)
2. Good Academics
3. work experience. this is very important.
4. Diversity – a java programmer from an IT services company would have to compete with many more candidates compared to a Hotel Management graduate or a fashion designer. it all depends on how many are going to apply with the same profile.
5. Good Essays.
6. Personal Interview … one of the toughest
7. References … this is very important. in the work hierarchy if you are directly reporting to senior management, obviously you would have a better reference.
