Using wireshark to monitor network traffic?
I have a feeling someone is watching what everyone on the network is browsing.
Currently everyone is wired into the router, no one is wireless.
When I open wireshark and click on 'list the available capture interfaces' It only brings up mine, Im have windows 7 and running wireshark as admin.
From the tutorials I have looked at i seems like I should be able to see all the connections on the router.
Is something up, or is this normal?

The Capture interface shows the available capture devices on the lan right now. But still if you have a doubt then are ample of tools that can sniff the network activity. You can use tools which can monitor lan and internet activity. This tools generates a log which shows you each and every detail about the current net and internet activity. The same can also be check from the router.

Is that using wireshark tools are a different program?
The reason Im confused is that on most tutorials they can see all connections and I cannnot. When I go to tools, lua, console, a box appears saying console open but one does not appear. This is what I see
