Facebook Keyboard Shortcuts

When you're on Facebook you can use keyboard shortcuts to perform certain tasks instead of the mouse. In most cases, these shortcuts will help you navigate more quickly in the different sections of the social network. Most keyboard shortcuts are to support Facebook simultaneously on two or three keys on your keyboard. For example: Alt + M

To run it when you are logged into your Facebook account, press the first button on the shortcut (Alt), then while holding it down, press the second (m). Depending on your Web browser shortcuts for Facebook are not totally identical. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for Facebook to Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome.

Shortcut for Sending Private Message:

To send a new message to their friends, you can go through the Messages section and click New post, fly over the name of a friend then click on New Message or use the following keyboard shortcut. Depending on your Web browser, the shortcut is different.

For Chrome: Alt + Up Arrow + M

Shortcut for Searching Feature:

The search of Facebook is convenient because it allows you to easily and quickly to a particular friend. With the following keyboard shortcut, you'll be able to automatically move the cursor in the search field. If so, simply enter your keywords, always at the keyboard.
