Weird thing going on with images in Powerpoint 2010 - Need help
I'm updating a movie I made in Powerpoint 2003 in Powerpoint 2010, but some of the transparant images I use turn out weird, with jagged edges. I figured out it can be fixed by changing soften/sharpen the image, but after a while the most of the images I fixed have gone back to their jagged-edge state.
Is there anything to permanently fix this?

Are you running with any Addins for the PowerPoint. I have seen most of the people are getting the issue while they are running with the SnagIt addin. I will first advise you to disable all the addins for your PowerPoint and after that try to work with the same. Just go through the same and see whether this is working with the issue or not.

As far as I know I don't have any addins, but where I can check if I have? Also, the weird thing is that this happens to just some of the transparant images in my presentation. The others stay just fine.=/

Apart from smoothening the edges of the charts that you create in PowerPoint, there is not much of a solution for same to clarify the jagged edges. What happens when you go to Tools -> Options and choose the Print tab in the resultant dialog box. Check the option to 'Print inserted objects at printer resolution' and see if it fixes the issue? You can also try to reinsert it in the png format.
