how to change "User Rights Assigment" in Windows Vista Home Premium
Hi,
I just installed Microstation V8i and I need to change [MS_MEMORY_FREELIMIT] and to do it I need to follow the following:
Unable to use all of the memory in your system because current user does not have "Lock Pages in Memory" privilege. See Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Local Security Policy>User Rights Assignment.
The problem is that Vista Home Premium does support this...
Any help on how I can change it???
Many thanks
Re: how to change "User Rights Assigment" in Windows Vista Home Premium
Well, you can open and change the "User Rights Assigment" by doing the following steps:
- Go to Start Menu.
- Type "secpol.msc" in the search Field.
- Tap on Enter. This will open local security policy.
- On the left side, click on Local Policies. If you are unable to see it than click on the server icon. Some times it resides under this folder.
- Under Local Policies folder, you will find "User Rights Assignment".
You can now make necessary changes you want. :thumbup1:
