Dell unveils IPS and multi-touch ST2220T
The ST2220T Dell has finally been launched by the manufacturer. This 21.5-inch screen is equipped with a touchscreen multi-touch IPS, capable of displaying full HD resolution of 1980 x 1080 pixels. It has a response time gtg 8ms, a brightness of 250 / m² and a contrast ratio of 50,000: 1. The horizontal viewing angles and vertical reach for their 178 °. With VGA, DVI and HDMI, the ST2220T has a 3-port USB hub built. This LCD is finally adjustable tilt. Available at $ 310, the ST2220T is available on the manufacturer's website.

The monitor just look awesome. I tried looking for non multitoch ips monitors and I found a number of list for the same. These monitors are relatively very costly. The first one which I liked the design is Dell UltraSharp U2711. Second one is NEC MultiSync PA271W and HP DreamColor LP2480zx. Dell has quiet a wide range for this choice which starts around $800 and keeps on going higher and higher. Apple too provides Apple LED Cinema Display 27-inch monitor.
