From where can I get Linux drivers for HT Omega Striker 7.1
I was surfing on the internet as I was up to buy a sound card for me and then I came across an article that was discussing about the HT Omega Striker 7.1. Well I thought that it will be great to have this in the kitty here and will be happy if some one here can come up with the suggestions on this. Well I have decided to go with this one. In addition to this I have seen that it has the drivers for the Linux but the thing is that I have searched all over the net for the Linux based drivers for this but really could not find them here. Will be happy if you all can help me in fetching the Drivers for this. Well one of the reason liking this card is that it has the Linux Drivers and I have the desktop with me which has both the Windows 7 and the Linux. Please come up with the suggestions on this.
Re: From where can I get Linux drivers for HT Omega Striker 7.1
It is really nice if they have the drivers for the Linux as they have the drivers for all the versions of the Windows already with them and it will be really great if they can provide both of them within a single pack. Now regarding the issue can you please tell me from where did you read the article that was saying all this things here. I think that it will be great if you can give me the link of this article here. Also the thing is that I have searched for the drivers on the official site but really cannot find the things that you have just mentioned here and I think that the article that you had read can help a bit here please let me have the link for that. Regarding the Sound Card I think that you have chosen an optimal option here.
Re: From where can I get Linux drivers for HT Omega Striker 7.1
I think that if you want you can have the ASUS XONAR DX well I think that it will be an optimal choice here and if you go with that then I think you will have the optimal solution here. The striker is capable of only having the DTS, and on the other hand I think that the one that I have suggested is capable of handling the DDL. The chip that is used by the Xonar is C Media 8788 and let me tell you that it is one of the best for the audio here. On the same note please let me tell you that the price difference between the two is negligible and I think that one can really afford it here. For the first when I used it is was really awesome and I think that you can give this a try for sure. Also in addition to this if you want to have something new on the suggestion board then I think that you can give Razer Barracuda AC-1 this a try for sure well it is also based on the same chip and I have this with me at the moment.
Re: From where can I get Linux drivers for HT Omega Striker 7.1
I think that you can have the drivers from the official site and if you want to have the link for it then here it is: http://www.htomega.com just go to this site and in the left pane you will be able to see the DOWNLOAD option there. You can click on that option and then feed in the proper detail for the product of which you want to have the drivers and then you will have the proper things for you. Well give this a try and let me know if you had the drivers from there. If at all you do not get it then I think that it will be great to have some other card for you.
Re: From where can I get Linux drivers for HT Omega Striker 7.1
I have the Windows 7 in my system and in addition to that let me tell you that I have the very same card that is being discussed here and let me tell you that it is really awesome and I really love the way that it is serving me. I am in touch with this card and I really read the updates what ever has been published about it and I have come to know that the Linux drivers for this are going to be released and it has not been released and that is the reason that you will not be able to have the drivers from the official site at this moment. Well you can try this in your case if you want.

Well I do not know what is the distribution of what you are talking about and hence I think that I will not be able to help you here that firmly. Now the thing is that I have some of my friends and they have this card and they are really running this without any issues here. I have seen that it is running well on the arch, debian and ubuntu and with ALSA and OSS4. I will be happy if you can have it in this manner and please let me know the distribution of which you are talking about.
