MS Office: Outlook 2010 Beta crashes during Startup
Hi friends, I am the having the issue with my Microsoft Office Outlook 2010, when I try to load the outlook, it just crashes straight away. I am also unable to start it up in to the safe mode as well. I had also tried to reinstall it but still it happens with me. I am literally unable to get the outlook 2010 beta start on to my computer. I tried all the things that I was known. Uninstall all its application and then installed it back. Remove all folders that were used by office (also in %appdata%), remove all registry keys, started in safe mode. But nothing works.
Re: MS Office: Outlook 2010 Beta crashes during Startup
You should only install only one version of the MS Office program on to your system. Check whether your program is being disabled by the third party program, you can only start it in the safe mode. Start the office application in to the safe mode: 1) Click Start, point to All Programs, and then point to Microsoft Office. 2) Press and hold the CTRL key, and then click the Office program you want to start. If the problem does not occur in the safe mode, this issue might be related to some third-party add-ins in the Office program, we can try to disable them. Normally, you could do the following to disable the conflict add-ins in your Office program: Disable the Add-ins
1) Click File menu Ã* click Options Ã* Add-in Ã* click Go button in the Manage: Com-in Add.
2) Check if there are any add-ins, clear the checkbox to disable them.
3) Close the Office program and restart it.
4) Add one check back each time to the list of Add-In, restart the Office program, and repeat the above procedure. Once the issue reappears again, we can determine which add-in causes this problem and then disable it.
Re: MS Office: Outlook 2010 Beta crashes during Startup
I thing the issue may be cause by the Add-ins. Also start the outlook in the safe mode. In the Event Viewer you can often find out the more detail and information about why Outlook get crashed regularly. The Event Viewer is a general location in Windows itself where applications and Windows can write status events when for instance a service is started/stopped, an application is launched or closed, if a backup was successful, who logged on to the system, etc. It also contains events for when an application unexpectedly stopped or crashed. Open Event Viewer. There are quite a few numbers of ways to open it. Some of them are;
• Start-> Run; eventvwr
• Start-> Control Panel (classic mode)-> Administrative Tools-> Event Viewer
• Start-> Control Panel (Windows XP)-> Performance and Maintenance-> Event Viewer
• Start-> Control Panel (Windows Vista)-> System and Security-> Event Viewer
• Start-> Control Panel (Windows 7)-> System and Maintenance-> Event Viewer
• Right click on (My) Computer is the Start Menu or in Explorer and choose Manage.
Expand System Tools to see Event Viewer.
• C:\Windows\System32\eventvwr.msc
In Windows Vista and Windows 7;
Start-> type; Event Viewer . And hope you can feedback more information
Re: MS Office: Outlook 2010 Beta crashes during Startup
The very simple solution to solve this issue is to find out is there any add-ons or the another program installed which affects the outlook and uninstall it, if it still does not provide any help to you than follow this procedure: first navigate to the control panel and in that searched for the item named mail, double click on it, it will open the mail setup, now click the button that show profiles. Now click the add button to add a new working profile. Now check the radio box option which says prompt for a profile to be used. Now you can check whether outlook was crashing due to the profile you were previously using, as it will prompt for the user profile to be used at start up. If the issue is because of your profile we would suggest you to backup the data from your old profile and create a new profile in outlook to use to that it won’t crash anymore. Rerun Outlook, to see if this fixed the problem.
