Which course should I pursue after completing graduation in IT or CS?
I am an undergraduate of IT field . I have my university exams after two months. I want to study further once I have done my graduation , but I am a bit confused which course should I pursue after the completion of the graduation. I ask this question to every one I meet but get different suggestion from each, so I decided to type my query in this forum where I can look out different suggestion but can choose the way which I find interesting. So please give your suggestion n tell me what you will choose if you were in my place.
Re: Which course should I pursue after completing graduation in IT or CS?
The way you have posted your question it seems your destination is not clear. You should set objective and goal of what you want in your rest of career so that you can earn living yourself and remain independent. You should not do anything because others are doing it, but you do anything or learn anything because you are interested in it. This is not school or higher school level , but much bigger than that. You decide yourself , what subject attracts you the most . There are a lot of functional areas even after you complete your graduation in IT or CS . You can go for the development , testing , networking , implementation and much more. you would have made a project in your final year what was it all about ? I am asking you this because this is where your interest matters. If you are not interested in anything but you are still doing it , then you are wasting your time and talent , then there will be a very little or no scope of growth. Can you please reply in detail your areas of interest and describe something about your project?
Re: Which course should I pursue after completing graduation in IT or CS?
I think you are right . I am very thankful that you brought me on right track. I am really fortunate that I wrote in this my forum and it turned out to be fruitful. I was so confused hearing different suggestions and advices from different people. As far as my college was concerned it was built in Java and was a navigation system that showed routes on the map when the source and destination were entered by the user. I am interested in software development much more than in networking and I am quite good at it . I do not mind testing as well but I have heard that it has very little scope of growth. Is doing post graduation worthwhile. I am thinking of doing Msc.

No not at all. If you want to do Msc then you should do it. But you are advised to do it only if you do not want to work right now. And from now o your further studies also depends on how much you are ready to invest in your studies, if money is not the constraint , the best course to be done will be SAP from a reputed institute. It has a great demand since most of the enterprise now have ERP system . It covers a large number of business modules. You can choose one or two according to your interest
