Thanks for the update, I am using Nokia e71 I think my phone is not compatible Tata Docomo 3g Service. Can you please suggest me a good Handset to use 3G Service ? The pefer brand which i would go for Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung. My budget is 15k not more than and please refer a good shop in mumbai itself.

hi, please help me out, i recently bought a docomo sim for 3g use. it got activated and i am able to use the 3g in my htc desire hd or the nokia n8 without any issues. i simply put the sim and the 3 shows up. but my problem is with my primary fone the samsung galaxy S, it simply doesnt show any 3G signs nor is able to browse the net with it. i have checked all the settings n everything is as it should be but it doesnt work at all. please let me know what is the problem with this fone and how to solve this issue.

I will advise you to contact the Service Provider and ask about the 3G setting in your device which is the best way to solve this issue. The another way to manage the 3G is to download and install the APN Widget which helps to Turn On and Turn Off the 3G in Samsung Galaxy S. So if you can then go through the same and see whether this is working with the issue of yours or not.

thanks for the reply Sudhamay, i solved the issue...it had to do with apn settings .....it wasnt saving the apn settings provided by tata, i just changed the name n let the numbers as such n its working now.

Please let me know do I activate 3G in samsung galaxy i5700. There is no option to click in GSM/DUAL MODE or UTMS.. Unable to proceed since I got 3G sim from Docomo

Here is what you need to do:

• Tap arrow up to access the main menu.
• Than tap Settings and than Wireless controls.
• Now go to Mobile networks and Select the network you want to use, like here, its 3G.
