I am using computer since last three years and recently I have installed windows 7 and office 2010 as it is new and having many new features to it. It was working very fine and there was no problem with the system. But recently I am suffering from the issue related to outlook. When ever I am try to open my calender it crashes outlook. I am not getting the point what is the problem exactly. Please anybody help me out of the problem.
Re: Outlook 2010 calendar crashes when opened
I think this is the problem related to the software you are using in the system. You may need to update the software's with their latest versions and after this restart the outlook and see if it works or not. I think this will be helpful to you. If it doesn't work then try to create anew profile and verify the account. If still you outlook calender is crashing then it might be require a repairing outlook data file (PST) which is associated with the older profile.

Re: Outlook 2010 calendar crashes when opened
As per my experience with this I think this problem can healed by some antivirus software scan. It seems that it might be an issue related with the virus. As they may cause crashing the outlook calender. so try doing the scanning with the antivirus. If still the problem exist then you need to repair the office install. I suspect repairing the archive file or a new archive file will resolve the problem.I think this may be helpful to you try this.
Re: Outlook 2010 calendar crashes when opened
I had this exact same problem and was able to fix it with a surprisingly simple solution: Right-click the Calendar tab in Outlook and open it in a new window-- It should open up without causing Outlook to restart. That's it! Once I did that my calendar opened just fine after hours and hours of trying to figure this out.
*cudos to my boss for figuring this out*
