But it is not compatible with the Windows 7 operating system. I want to make this autocad 2006 compatible with win 7 OS. Anyone having any idea please post your reply.
Re: How to make autocad 2006 compactible with windows 7
I will recommend you to change your system from windows 7 to XP. You will have to make the use of the XP service pack 2 compatibility mode. I think it will work fine on this system as i to use AutoCAD 2006 on my XP system. If you do not have to change your operating system, then you will require to make the use of AutoCAD 2010 version. I think this will work fine on your system.
Re: How to make autocad 2006 compactible with windows 7
I am using AutoCAD 2006 on my windows 7 operating system from the last 6 months. It is just working fine in my system, without any problem. I think you might be running it as normal use so you are getting this compatibility error message. If you want to use it without any compatibility error message, then you will require to run it as an Administrator.

Thanks for the instance reply you have made. I have read your content and i sees that you have mention there to run the autocad 2006 as a administrator. I do not know the method to run the autocad 2006 as a administrator. Can you please provide me the way or the method to run this autocad 2006 software as admin. I will be really waiting for your reply.
Re: How to make autocad 2006 compactible with windows 7
I forgot there to give the method for that, so i am providing it here. First right click on the application when it is started. After doing that select the option 'Run As Administrator' from the drop down list. After doing this you will be able to run it as the administrator and your autocad 2006 will get compatible with windows 7. Hope it helps.
