Sony Ericsson satio Certificate Expired Error
I just recently to renew my mobile by the latest Sony Ericsson satio, everything works fine except that I can install any application that supports OS, the phone indicating each time an error message "certificate expired ". After some research on the net it seems that this is due to the version 10 firmware the phone is bugged . Can you have an idea of release date of the latest firmware of Sony Ericsson satio. Thanks in advance.

Re: Sony Ericsson satio Certificate Expired Error
majority of sony phones allows developers worldwide to create applications and make them available to the public free of charge or not. Only problem an application is to be installed, have the necessary rights. So if a developer wants to launch an application compatible on any phone it must have a certificate authorizing it. To illustrate we will say that the application must include somewhere a message saying "I 'm an application that can be installed on any compatible phone with anyone that imei .
Re: Sony Ericsson satio Certificate Expired Error
You tried to install the unsigned application . Note that the signature is mandatory S60 3rd Edition. You can use self-signed certificate or certificate developer from Symbian to sign your application. That your certificate can be used to sign all necessary functionality to your application. For example , if you use a self-signed certificate , you can only sign military capabilities basic , ie NetworkServices , ReadUserData , WriteUserData , LocalService and UserEnvironment . If your application requires extended functionality for SwEvent example, you can not sign with the self-signed certificate . In this case , request a developer certificate Symbian .
Re: Sony Ericsson satio Certificate Expired Error
Developers must apply for a signature from Symbian Signed so that their application is installed on all mobiles. However , this application takes time, and therefore the developers offer their unsigned application initially . Before , users could create an account Symbian SignedAnd obtain a certificate for a single mobile (as the IMEI number is unique for all phones ) , the license allowed us to sign our applications. But ultimately they have removed this option and replace it by another means "open -signed "which allows sign for yourself (with your IMEI ) an application that was created to be signed this way here.
