Dell Wireless 370/375 Bluetooth Mini-card problem
I have above card in my Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Windows XP SP3 and the configuration software, so far so good. I would like the card from other devices cannot be found. For this purpose I have in the "BT Configuration" under "Accessibility" the check in the "Let other devices discover this computer." removed. When I re-start the laptop now, the hook is set again. Can connected with the BT keyboard and mouse from Dell, but not really? How do I get the card always invisible?
Re: Dell Wireless 370/375 Bluetooth Mini-card problem
I am also facing the same problem and I having no any idea why it does not retain the above setting permanently? As it is more the software is not working, it loses after the restart the setting; maybe someone here knows the entry in the registry. I need to know the solution for this problem, if anyone has related solution then let me know about that.
Re: Dell Wireless 370/375 Bluetooth Mini-card problem

Re: Dell Wireless 370/375 Bluetooth Mini-card problem
I noticed that I have listed under Bluetooth Devices in Device Manager two devices. For one, the Dell card and then another Bluetooth Bus Enumerator. What is the need for and which driver I need to update there if necessary? If you can provide any help related then it will be really appreciated. I will be waiting for the related reply. Thanks in advance.
Re: Dell Wireless 370/375 Bluetooth Mini-card problem
I have a problem with the Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth module mini-card. Indeed after Windows installed, and drivers integrated, I have no peripheral yellow in device manager but the bluetooth is not installed. When I run the DELL drivers R196560.exe it works well I found my device and installs correctly. My problem is that we will buy lots of E6400 and I use RIS to deploy our positions out there for Bluetooth I am stuck (because I put in RIS files directly from drivers and I do not run exe).
Re: Dell Wireless 370/375 Bluetooth Mini-card problem
Does this may be related to a firmware compatible than Vista (I also not quite follow about this story) Knowing that for the moment all our Dell with XP preinstalled are ordered to be on having the technical support on this OS. But we redeploy each time XP on new computers. Once installed with the driver of DELL, I "Enumerator bus Bluetooth" which appears (ROOT \ BTW \ 0000) (btkrnl.sys) and the "Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Mini-Card" (USB \ VID_413C & PID_8156 \ 6 & 76EFACD & 0 & 3 ) (btwusb.sys 5.5.0.3205 and 6.2.0.3500 btwsecfl.sys)
Re: Dell Wireless 370/375 Bluetooth Mini-card problem
I park very important Latitude (D400, 410,420,430,600,610,620,630) and I install them all without concern with RIS (or WDS for Vista but it is rare for now) and I have no worries. I use the same point installs for all laptops. Strangely when I try to update the firmware (the file svcpack drivers and firmware with the exe SetupBluetoothDFU.exe LR.dfu (besides, I do not know what it is) the map appears in Windows then redisparait.
