JPEG Images in SVG
Hello,
I just downloaded Inkscape and tries to get between the layers and random color fills, it is complicated for my very limited capacities in computer graphics in general and in particular. I worry for the moment I would like to convert my image created in Inkscape SVG JPEG. I tried with "XNView" but I do have a serious concern for understanding the original format is not recognized. Can you please help me with this? Thank you.

Re: JPEG Images in SVG
After downloading, you have installed it correctly? Inkscape allows exports in PNG.
In Inkscape:
File-Export Bitmap your image (or selected ). Check the path in your code. In a bitmap graphics editor (XNView, for example):
File-Open = Png file
File-Save As Format = jpg file

Re: JPEG Images in SVG
If I am a single layer in inkscape (i.e white background by default) and I send in XNView, the bottom becomes brown. Though I "select all" then "background color" in XNView, nothing changes. And as I Inkscape bitmap, I am unable to modify the original design. Is there a way out of it? Thank you.

Re: JPEG Images in SVG
I do not know XnView but perhaps it is possible to select by color. If you have not saved your work. Svg in Inkscape, you lose. Should be repeated. You can import the .png on one layer and use them as a model.
