Re: Windows 7 + iTunes Error during install HRESULT:0x800736FD
It appears to me as you are facing this error because you have downloaded a corrupt copy of the iTunes application. So you are getting this error so i would suggest you to download the iTunes from the apple website then uninstall the application from your system then reinstall the application again on the system. Hope that this will help you to get this problem fixed.
Re: Windows 7 + iTunes Error during install HRESULT:0x800736FD
Finally I managed to install the pair of applications. But as I made several actions in parallel, difficult to determine which is imperative. In any case, contrary to what I have read that is not the update ". Microsoft Visual C + + 2005 Pack 1" has solved the problem since it is still not installed on my PC. I had two on the PC versions of Microsoft Office (2003 and 2007). I uninstalled the 2003 version. Then I started all possible updates (Windows Update / panel config). Only packs and security W7 KB973688 KB954430 succeeded that day. the "Core Service 4.0 pach 2". Thanks for the help.

I had this problem sometimes back but when I checked my rights to write (by right clicking / property on C:) Security tab. I noticed that I did not have full rights to control in my session. Then I uninstalled all applications published by Apple as indicated on their website (including hello) ... (Per panel config / uninstall). I rebooted. Then I installed Quicktime as an administrator (right click / install as admin) except for a version 7.2 and iTunes 8.2.1.6. And everything worked. I did not yet ventured to update iTunes. I will keep you informed when I would do the big jump. After 1week and a half without an update to the iPhone, I prefer to ensure my back.
Re: Windows 7 + iTunes Error during install HRESULT:0x800736FD
I just got Windows 7, I start to install some software like mozilla, vlc without problems. Now I wish I had avast and Open Office, I downloaded the latest installer. The installation of avast first buggy, then worked after the computer restarted. But I can not run because "side by side configuration is incorrect". As for Open Office installation buggies "Windows configures Microsoft Visual C + + 2008 redistributable x64 9.0.21022 ..." then the error message appears: Please tell me how to get rid of this problem.
Re: Windows 7 + iTunes Error during install HRESULT:0x800736FD
I think you need to install Microsoft Visual C + + 2008 Redistributable (x64) , then finally restart the desktop computer, then install Avast tests of Open Office. Hope that this will definitely help you to fix this issue.

I think that I did not have good software but open office or even avast, neither one nor the other asked to choose between a 64 or 32 bits when downloading, can be do I look bad? (Also for avast it seems that the installer is the same in 32 or 64-bit. I downloaded Microsoft Visual C + + but the installation stops at the end almost like when you install Open Office.
