ASP, SQL Consultant needed
We have a web portal done with asp (classic) and sql 2005(std) loaded on windows 2003 32 bit. We are facing lot of problems due to high usage on CPU+Memory.
We are looking for a consultant for our project specially for guidance in asp,sql code optimization to improve speed and reduce load on server (to utilize least possible CPU and memory).

By that are you referring to some person or some online help over here?
BTW regarding your problem, which machine are you referring to: client or server? Does this happen in any particular browser? Are you using flash in your website? High usage of CPU as well as memory can be due to too much of javascript files that should be loaded.
Re: ASP, SQL Consultant needed
We prefer online help.
Actually our web hosting company told us that our web site is taking high cpu as well as memory. On the server when we checked the various processes through task manager we found w3wp.exe and sqlservr.exe both are highest consumer of CPU and highest memory is consumed by sqlservr.exe The plain html pages are not taking too long but some database driven asp pages are taking time so we felt its not the client side but server side processing that is creating problem. We often get query timeout and deadlock errors.
We are not using flash
Java script is used but not too much

Are you able to login into DNP? The error that you have posted is related to user application. Most probably it's trying to instantiate some COM component. You need to make sure DNPEnterpriseServer database is not imported in DNP and also make sure ES database is not in the list. Otherwise, detach it (do not delete, but detach).

Hi Glenny

Can you please explain the terms DNPEnterpriseServer, DNP, ES database
Re: ASP, SQL Consultant needed
What does your Event Manager say about this processes (w3wp.exe and sqlservr.exe)? Did you find anything strange in your Event Manager? Download and install CPU-Z on the server and see what it says. Also post the result in the attachment.
