Missing wab.dll file
I have a new computer with win 7 64 - I was hoping to just reinstall my old faithful Outlook 2000. The error messages I get are missing wab.dll file and also an invalid addin with outlvba in the name. Any advice. PS and I have just noticed that I can`t type a question mark here it comes out as a fancy E.

Re: Missing wab.dll file
The WAB.dll is an outlook file and to solve this problem follow the below suggestions:
- Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.
- Type Wab32.dll in the Named box, and then click Find Now.
- With the right mouse button, click Wab32.dll, and on the shortcut menu, click Rename. Type Wab32.old, and press ENTER.
More information can be found here.

Re: Missing wab.dll file
Thank you for the advice. I'm guessing you are not referring to win 7 in your response. I could certainly find the file but after a right click - rename is not an option. I tried to move it to my desktop but still have the same issue.

Re: Missing wab.dll file
Have you tried reinstalling outlook on your machine again because as it has been already discussed that Wab.dll missing with OL 2000 in Windows 7, therefore after a Outlook reinstallation everything will be fine. You can also get more information from here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/196210
