Using current XP Print drivers and Windows 7 Print drivers on 2003 Print Server
Hi,
We would like to know if there is a way to keep our current XP print drivers active on our Windows 2003 Print Server, but also install/use Windows 7 print drivers for new Win7 systems in our network. It would be like a Dual print server. We do not want to upgrade or change our current XP print drivers since they are specific drivers that work for our users. Is this possible?

logically win7 can work on that driver too....win7 has supported most of the driver now ..... as long as you win7 is connected to your domain it can print using that driver ......did you try to print using win7 did you encounter any error ??

I may not understand your question. Print servers are designed to handle various operating systems and printers concurrently, including installing the appropriate driver when necessary.

I am not sure about Windows 7 but on my network I am using HP Network Printer tool which makes by job easy. This tool is just designed to configure any network printer without hassle. So here you does not need to play with the settings and things are done within few clicks. There is a easy setup wizard which gives you step by step procedure for the same.
