Re: Creative Vado HD for Mac OS X
Basically, the use is summarized with two buttons: one for booting and one for recording. Play button allows the reading of the videos on the LCD screen and navigation between videos with an arrow button, without forgetting the famous key "trash" to remove unwanted troubles. The reading of the videos is fast with a loudspeaker. The housing flat and very successful finish of the Ford HD camcorder makes it a rather nomadic category. It is a beautiful object to be the pimp at a party but also a good traveling companion.
Re: Creative Vado HD for Mac OS X
Interest to bloggers, architects, journalists and all those who judge the video quality of your phone inadequate. The unit is dedicated more to mobility that comes with a silicone case to absorb falls. The other specificity of the Vado is certainly HD autonomy. I'm not talking here about energy independence but autonomy of use. No USB cable in a plastic bag, no installation CD. The Vado HD uses its 8 GB flash memory to store your driver and the Vado Central program that lets you read and publish your videos directly from the device.
Re: Creative Vado HD for Mac OS X
The Vado 720p HD recording format that is an image of 1280x720 pixels in progressive scan. The movies are encoded to AVC format with H.264 codec in flash memory of 8 GB or 2 hours of recording. The result is very good in a Full HD TV 32 with a smooth image and a colorimetry that tends toward the warm (With dominance of yellow or orange). Creative does not indicate the extent of focal but in view, it is close to that of a 32mm wide angle. equivalent to 24x36. There is no optical zoom, 2x digital zoom and has no interest as it only serves to degrade the quality expanding HD pixels. As far as sensitivity, is little or nothing in a dark room which is not surprising given the microscopic size of the optics and sensor. In the manner of a good HD camcorder, the Vado has a HDMI HD to take full advantage of HD on a Full HD Flat TV. Those with a normal TV will use the analog composite video output.
Re: Creative Vado HD for Mac OS X
To watch a video stream, a connection is now essential: HDMI. Well Creative integrates its camera taking a mini HDMI and goes even further by providing a mini HDMI cable - HDMI. Simply plug the VADO HD flat screen to watch your movie. And it easily because the sound also passes through this single cable. In addition to a silicone case already mentioned, Creative provides a USB extension cable a few tens of centimeters. The VADO HD is displayed in an attractive price. So I would like to suggest you to go for it. :thumbup1:
Re: Creative Vado HD for Mac OS X
VADO HD is good for its portability and simplicity. Portability because it measures only 10 x 5.5 x 1.6 cm and weighs only 100 grams. Suffice to say that you forget the pocket all that comes with a protective silicone cover. Simple as it then just press the record button central to film the scene. VADO the HD has 8 GB of flash memory is enough to contain at least two hours of video if you opt for the highest quality.
Re: Creative Vado HD for Mac OS X
To retrieve your content, a mini USB cable is included. Suffice it to connect your computer to access your movies. They use H.264 in an AVI container. In other words, they can be played on most computers without special handling. Without installation since runs directly from the camera's internal memory, the Vado Central software allows you to export your movies directly to online services like Youtube or you start editing with Movie.
Re: Creative Vado HD for Mac OS X
The Creative Vado allows HD recording at 720p, which is added to a wide angle lens, which for a camera of this type is quite interesting. We could replace it with a compact camera, of which there are already many models that record in HD, but this part with some advantages. With 8 GB of internal memory can record up to two hours of video in high resolution, building up to four hours if we choose it to VGA resolution. In either case it is used as H.264 compression format. The result we can see directly from our TV via the HDMI output built.
Re: Creative Vado HD for Mac OS X
If you prefer to edit the video, pass it to your computer via USB cable and what we do with Vado Central, which includes editing application. The USB cable, of course, is integrated into the camera and stored inside. The Creative Vado HD is priced at $ 230 and weighs 320 grams. In the following video we can see an example of the result it offers, but if you want to see in HD will be better.
