Sleep function for Logitech Harmony 525
My Harmony 525 works superior and the sleep-timer for my LCD-TV works too. But only the TV shuts down and the supplementary units still run. Is there any leeway to let the remote shut down all units, when sleep mode shuts down the TV? Also my friend requires to know about the Compatibility on Windows Server 2003. Please provide some information about it. Hoping that someone hanging out there will help me as soon as possible.!! :glare: :hmm:
Re: Sleep function for Logitech Harmony 525
Logitech does not support gambling devices in the PC operating system Windows Server 2003. Logitech gaming devices only work on Windows ME, 98, 98 SE, 2000 and XP. Logitech does not support scanners in the operating system Windows Server 2003. The Logitech audio products run on Windows Server 2003 if the sound card is compatible with this operating system. Logitech USB audio devices work with standard USB audio drivers included with Windows Server 2003. Logitech does not support the Logitech ie Personal Digital Pen Windows Server 2003. Hope that you got some hints of compatibility in Windows Server 2003.

Petite answer, no... The Harmony does not have any setting up capabilities, or any way to detect the state of any external device in order to achieve specific commands. There may be other options such as powering down a power strip using an X10 appliance or analogous module using an X10 timer device.

All current Logitech pointing devices running Windows Server 2003, provided you use the drivers (native) internal operating system. These drivers provide support for pointing devices, Logitech wheel and four buttons. If you use the native drivers, your mouse should work like a standard Windows mouse. Currently, Logitech does not plan to issue driver for Windows Server 2003. Click the button to e-mail notification, below, if you want to be notified about changes. The old devices Logitech Series C connected to the serial port are not supported on Windows Server 2003.

If installed properly, all Logitech keyboards work on Windows Server 2003 as keyboards to 104 standard keys. Logitech keyboards use the drivers (native) internal Windows Server 2003. However, the iTouch software, SetPoint KeyCommander and are not supported by the operating system Windows Server 2003. Currently, Logitech does not intend to publish or keyboard driver or software update for Windows Server 2003. DO NOT install software for Logitech keyboards (whatever version) on Windows Server 2003. You could indeed block the operating system and having to reinstall. Also, if you use Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE or Windows NT 4.0 and are considering moving to Windows Server 2003 this version by substituting your current operating system by the method of crushing, you must run the program uninstalling keyboard driver before proceeding with the update. The keyboard drivers installed under Windows 9x and Windows NT 4.0 are indeed incompatible with Windows Server 2003. In addition, the uninstall program keyboard drivers might not work under Windows Server 2003.

The Harmony Advanced Universal Remote features customizable preset buttons and LCD buttons. By using the software of the Logitech Harmony, you can add, delete or modify the function of a specific button. Sometimes a command from your original remote does not work properly or is simply not on your Harmony remote. Any control you have on your original remote, but that does not exist or does not work on your Harmony remote can be taught. To teach a new command or a command missing from your original remote at the Harmony remote, follow these steps :
- Run the software from the Logitech Harmony and log in to your account.
- Click on the tab Devices.
- Click Learning IR corresponding to the device for which you want to teach or controls.
