ATI Catalyst 10.5 application feedback.
I am Windows XP user and have installed old version Catalyst application. Many if my friend has suggested me to update it to 10.5. But I don’t have any idea about the Catalyst 10.5. Could you guys please make me know some of its features any specification ? Any help will be appreciated.

AMD has released Catalyst drivers for the month of May This edition includes two new 10.5, first, the screens running at 120 Hz (and logically compatible 3D) are now supported by the ATI Radeon HD 3000 and HD 4000. Then, the ATI Overdrive overclocking utility now works without problems with multi-screen configurations.

After testing the audio on HDMI is not supported either with Catalyst, at the same time it surprised me a little that the graphics driver can even influenced the sound on HDMI output. Morality I'm back on the free driver. By cons it would be really cool to get to take action to encourage developers to provide us with AMD driver worthy of the name because despite our philosophy oriented software free, when purchasing our materials have become of us sum consumers of this product, it is therefore legitimate to ask what it says hardware is working correctly.

ATI, AMD's branch specialized in the design of video chips, has just put online a new version of Catalyst graphics drivers. Stamped 10.5, it is for computers running under Windows XP and Vista and 7. AMD has posted Wednesday v10.5 Catalyst drivers for Radeon HD. A modest change, WHQL certified, the two main changes are: the extension of the 120 Hz mode, enabling the display in relief on a compatible monitor, the cards series HD 3000 and HD 4000, and improved ATI Overdrive mode which is easy overclocking on configurations with multiple screens.

Version 10.5 of Catalyst drivers are available now on website ATI / AMD for the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
These drivers provide support for 120 Hz screens on Radeon HD 4000 and Radeon HD 3000. ATI Overdrive also been improved on multihead setups. Finally, several fixes have been made to fix bugs and improve performance.
