I am having the CD in the Cd drive which is not ejecting. And the problem is that, there is not the icon for that cd in the Mac Mini, though the CD drive is having CD inside it. What is the reason behind this. If anyone from you having any solution from which I will able to resolve my problem, then provide that to me. Thank you in advance.
You have to follow the small procedure below:
- Start your Mac Mini.
- Simply keep pressing your left mouse button when it starts.
- Now stop pressing.
It worked for me. So, just try this for you.
It may be possible that your CD Drive had stopped working and that is why you are facing the problem. So, now if you want to solve your problem, then you must need to make use of the new CD drive and then try to check whether the problem get solved or not. It will simply solve your problem and then you will able to fix your problem. So, just try it.
STEPS To Follow:
- Open the terminal through Applications >> Utilities >> Terminal.
- On the terminal type the command below:

drutils status
- You will get the disk details.
- Now type the command below:

drutils eject
- Now restart your Mac Mini.
You must need to contact to the Apple for this purpose. It will simply give you solution for your problem of the Ejecting the CD and then you will able to solve your problem, by taking the help from them. So, just make use of the help from the technical persons from then Apple, then they will personally check your Mac Mini and then can fix the problem which you are facing. So, just check that.
