Creating A Hidden User Account in windows XP
 For our own privacy purpose or say it for security we can maintain and Create A Hidden User Account under windows xp operating system.
This tweak allows an account that is normally displayed on the Welcome screen to be hidden from view. To log on using the account it's necessary to use the Log On To Windows dialog box similar to the one in Windows 2000.
#[Start] [Run] [Regedit]
#Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\
Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
#Modify/Create the Value Data Type(s) and Value Name(s) as detailed below.
#Data Type: REG_DWORD [Dword Value] // Value Name: Type Name of Account to be Hidden
#Setting for Value Data: [0 = Account is Hidden / 1 = Enabled]
#Exit Registry and Reboot...
While the account is hidden on the Welcome screen, note that the account profile will be visible in C:\Documents and Settings or wherever user profiles are stored as well as in Local Users and Groups.

You can also find a great tool where you can hide user accounts in Windows XP at the welcome screen display.
This is very useful if you share your computer and you do not want people to know that you have a login account of your choice. Although it's easy to find out the list of user accounts after login, goal, It's Still a Good Way to Avoid Other People Trying to Get Into it while They Are On Your Computer. Although it is easy to find the list of user accounts after logging in, but it is always a good way to prevent other people trying to stay while on your computer.
IntelliAdmin has developed a free tool called XP User Hide where you need to check the user you want to hide the welcome screen. It's that EASY! It's so easy! XP User Hide MODIFIED only gains from your Registry and not "any patching gold Modifying Windows files". XP User Hide only changes the values of your registry and do not patch or modify Windows files. So it's definitely safe to use and will not make your Windows unstable.
