MTNL Broadband DNS Servers
Hi,
I am using a MTNL broadband Internet connection. I had taken this service some time before. During the starting point I got a nice speed of around 60 kbps on download. But then it goes on falling. Now MTNL broadband internet is painfully slow. I am not able to fetch the issue behind this. Might using some open dns will help to fix the issue. What you think for the same.
Re: MTNL Broadband DNS Servers
I have some options for that. You can try the below listed open dns server which work on my pc. My internet has gone quiet down so for that I had decided to specify some open dns for the same. Those ips are 59.185.0.50, 203.94.227.70 and 203.94.243.70. Try the same in the order and then reboot your pc. Recheck your netspeed. This might work.
Re: MTNL Broadband DNS Servers
The default open dns used on the mtnl broadband is 203.122.63.152 and 203.122.63.154. You can try out anyone of the same to get the regular internet speed. If that does not works properly then use 202.56.215.6, 202.56.230.6. I had implemented the same on my pc where I can say that the speed is increased but not to very high. I can atleast get some downloads in some hours.
Re: MTNL Broadband DNS Servers
After doing a much R & D and talking with the customer service support I plan to know use open dns settings for my TCP/IP configuration. I had seen many times my internet speed falling constantly. But nothing works here well. The router obtains the DNS automatically which was 59.185.0.50 and 203.94.243.70. Now I had added this ip's on my lan settings 203.94.227.70 & 203.94.243.70 which works well know.
Re: MTNL Broadband DNS Servers
There are some third party softwares where you does need to do any settings manually. For this I am using Tree Walk DNS. A lightweight simple tool which runs on your own server. This tools does depends on the servers settings given by the ISP's. So here you get a much nicer alternative for working on internet. You just need to run the setup and follow next > next to set your DNS.
Re: MTNL Broadband DNS Servers
Flusing DNS might help you out for some time. The issue lies from the ISP ends where you really fell hard to create setups. Open DNS is a nice solution for this. Go on the open dns site and checkout for some basic support. You need to create a free account where you will be provide direct access and guess what you will get nice internet speed as compare to before.
