I have recently installed Windows 7 ultimate on my pc. I usually like to game a bit in odd days and my brother gifted Metro 2033 pc game. I installed it when I tried to run this game it gave me an error message that X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing. It also tells me to update my nvidia drivers although it is updated to the latest version of the driver. Now after so much of fiddling I am stucked at black screen, how to run this game properly. Help
There is some trouble faced by some people who are trying to install Metro 2033 game on pc. It is actually hard to tell how this error occurs cause of the different configs that are loaded on evey individual's pc systems. However, there is a folder called "Install" where most of the game files is going to be needed and it is located under the games installation directory.

For Windows Vista, try:
C:\program files\THQ\Metro 2033\install
For Windows Vista x64, try:
C:\Program Files (x86)\METRO 2033\install
