The Office 2007 Suite (SP1) is not downloaded completely to WSUS

I am facing the problem while downloading the MS Office 2007 Service Pack 1 to Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). I have tried to do many things but the Office 2007 is not getting properly downloaded. The downloading stops after getting partially downloaded. So I thought to take some help from you guys.!! Please tell me the solution for the Office 2007 Suite (SP1) which is not downloaded completely to WSUS. When the Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is released to Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) updates may be associated filtered by language metadata for updates in the service pack. However, the updated second language are not downloaded to the WSUS server. This problem occurs when you perform the following operations :

1. You use WSUS to approve and deploy SP1 for Office Suite 2007.
2. You set the language filter to only download updates in English.

A revision metadata SP1 after Office 2007 causes a request for approval on WSUS. Due to a problem with metadata WSUS language filtering, some specific updates to the language of the service pack can not be downloaded to the WSUS server. Subsequent client installations can not report an error, even if necessary updates were not installed. Therefore, client installations English does not transmit an error and the client does not receive the service pack. For example, Office 2007 customers who have checking tool installed in other language (German or Spanish) may not receive the updates specific to that language for the required updates have not been found on the WSUS server.

Metadata WSUS language filtering has been altered updates in SP1 of Office 2007 suite. WSUS administrators should approve the revised Redeployment and then service pack for their customers. You should keep in mind that no change in functionality have been made for updates to files and service pack. Also I would like to recommend you to install the updates in English, if you are selecting some other language.

Installing Office 2007 has changed from previous versions of Office to use the multi MSI architecture. Customers who install Office system 2007 receive a combination of global and specific components of language. Language-specific components include content that is specific to the language of the product base in addition to content from other languages. It depends on the features you select when you install the product. The previous model also changes to the public updates and service packs. For example, the English version of Office 2007 SP1 suite includes global updates, updates specific to English, the latest Spanish-specific and update French-specific.

This problem applies when the WSUS administrators filter on any specific language. Not all WSUS administrators are affected by this problem. For example, the directors shall not be affected :

• Administrators who use WSUS 2.0 with default language filter.
• Administrators who use WSUS 3.0 with all languages for filtering.
