I have been using a dell inspiron laptop since a last year earlier it was installed with windows vista now i have upgraded windows vista to windows 7. I was using office 2003 impressively. But recently i have upgraded the office 2003 application to office 2010. I now want to revert back from office 2010 to office 2003. Please help me to achieve this.
Re: Reverting to Office 2003 from Office 2010 beta
It is quiet hard to revert back to office 2003 from office 2010 since you have upgraded the office 2003. It would have been easy if you have installed the office 2010. It appears to me as you cannot get back the office 2003. So you have to keep the office 2010 which you have installed on your system
Re: Reverting to Office 2003 from Office 2010 beta
I think you will have to uninstall the office 2010 application from your system using the add/remove program utility from your system. After you remove the office 2010 application you should try to install the office 2003 application once again on your system. This should help you in this matter for sure.
Re: Reverting to Office 2003 from Office 2010 beta
So far i know the office 2010 beta whenever you try to upgrade or install a program or application most probably the windows 7 operating system will create a restore point. so i think you can get back the office 2003 application back by restoring the system to the restore point. This might work for your in this case.
Re: Reverting to Office 2003 from Office 2010 beta
These type of revert are not possible if you have performed an upgrade of the application on your system. I would recommend you to uninstall the office 2010 beta program from your system and then install the office 2003 application once again on your system. This installation will help you to get office 2003 back.
Re: Reverting to Office 2003 from Office 2010 beta
A restore point is created automatically whenever you try to upgrade or install a program on your system this is a very unique feature of windows 7 operating system. Since if you want you can use this restore point to get the settings back on your system. Try to restore your system to this point.
