Re: How to turn off automatic hyphenation in Ms Publisher
Thanks for the reply But the steps which you suggested in the above reply will only help to remove the hyphenation from new publisher documents only . It still exists in the older documents so i would like to know a method which will help me to remove the hyphenation from the existing publisher documents.
Re: How to turn off automatic hyphenation in Ms Publisher

Re: How to turn off automatic hyphenation in Ms Publisher
The hyphenation feature is a very good feature which the MS Outlook 2010 provides. It is always recommended to keep this feature turned on so that you do not have to be careful enough to do hyphenation all the time. But still if you want to disable it you can try to disable it by un-checking the "Automatically hyphenate in new text boxes" check box.

In order to disable the hyphenation from an existing documents you only need to do uncheck an option follow the path mentioned below:
File | Options | Advanced | Editing Options and untick the option "Automatically hyphenate in new text boxes". Hope this will definitely solve the issue.

It is NOT a very good feature - it's a STUPID feature - most people I know don't WANT hyphenation and it's a total pain in the behind to have to go in and change it every freakin' time - I don't see why it doesn't give you an option - like a question, "Are you a Hyphenator" answer yes or no and if you are, have hyphens every two words if you want, if you're not, just let the sentences be of uneven lengths and free of hyphens.
Re: How to turn off automatic hyphenation in Ms Publisher
In MS Publisher 2010
- On the Text Box Tools tab, click Hyphenation.
- In pop-up dialog box Clear Automatically Hyphenate this story
check box - Click OK
Hope this helps
