Re: Virus infection in Transcend 16gb pen drive
The problem is by the virus infection and if you want then you need to first run hijack and clean by nod. If this idea can work with you then go to the Dos and try to format your pen drive, if it doesn't work with the second idea, open pen drive and try to swipe pen drive bord by using petrol or thiner and let it dry after dry u can use it. If this idea works then you can safely use your pendrive and prevent your pendrive from the virus infection.

I was also facing same kind of problem but i did a method which helped me to solve my problem of my pen drive. You can just follow the steps which i used:
- You need to do a right click on "My Computer" icon and open manage.
- After that open "disk management".
- Once you have opened you will see your pen drive.
- Then right click on your pen drive and try to click on format.
- Once you have formated your pendrive then restart your computer.
- After restarting insert your pendrive in your computer and try to exlpore your pendrive, i am sure that your problem will be solved.
Re: Virus infection in Transcend 16gb pen drive
You can see these steps which can be helpful in preventing and removing virus from pendrive.
1. You need to disable Autorun on your pen drive.
- To do this go to the Start and then to Run and there type “gpedit.msc” and hit enter button. By entering this it will open a group policy editor.
- After that browse to administrative templates then to System and double click on Turn off Autoplay then click on Enabled and Under Settings you nee to select All Drives in drop down and click OK.
2. After that Scan Your Pen Drive:
This is very important step, whenever you plugin your pen drive into the USB port on your computer make sure that you need to always run a virus scan with your updated anti virus before opening your pen drive contents in windows explorer.

Re: Virus infection in Transcend 16gb pen drive
If your pen drive is not detected in your computer, or it shows less capacity in it, or there are some fake folders and other corrupted files then there is a high chances that its a chip corruption and also virus infection. Flash chips are the actual hardware components which saves the data. A physical or electromagnetic damage to this chip can make the pen drive faulty or corrupted. The virus infection also can cause corruption, the best thing is to get a good security and scanning tool for your antivirus.
